Gloria Lieberman

Gloria Lieberman is one of the world's renowned jewelry experts. She founded Skinner's Fine Jewelry Department in 1980 and served as director for 31 years. Her skillful marketing and management of the department resulted in the achievement of international world record prices for estate and heirloom jewelry, gaining valuable recognition for Skinner.

A frequent lecturer, Gloria has participated in many educational seminars including the University of Maine's Antique Jewelry Seminar and New York University's Jewelry Appraisers Conference in Tucson, Arizona, and has been invited to speak on behalf of the Society of Jewelry Historians at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. In addition, she has discussed artist-designed jewelry before the New York University Jewelry Studies Program and the New York State Appraisers Association. Gloria is also a teacher and lecturer at Rhode Island School of Design's (RISD) Decorative Arts program.

In addition to ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, her television appearances include the BBC's The Great Antiques Hunt and the Boston-based series Chronicle. Gloria has interviewed with the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, Yankee Magazine, Maine Antique Digest, and other art and antique publications.

Design historian Maureen Footer holds a B.A. from Wellesley College in French and English literature, an MBA from Columbia University, and studied French eighteenth-century decorative arts and architecture at the Ecole du Louvre in Paris. Her most recent book, Dior and His Decorators: Victor Grandpierre, Georges Geffroy, and the New Look (Vendome Press, September 2018), examines the intersection and influence of haute couture and high design in Paris in the years following World War II. Her previous book, George Stacey and the Creation of American Chic (Rizzoli), chronicled American design as the country came of age culturally, politically, and socially. Her work has received notices from the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Le Figaro.

Ms. Footer has lectured at the Sorbonne, the Institute of Classical Architecture, Winterthur, the Huntington Museum, and the New York School of Interior Design.

A lifelong balletomane, Ms. Footer sits on the board of the New York City Ballet.

Timothy Whealon is a graduate of Kenyon College, where he studied English Literature and Art History. He moved to New York to begin a career in banking and completed a credit training program on Wall Street before pursuing his passion for the arts and design. Mr. Whealon completed the Sotheby's Works of Art course in London and the corporate management training program with Sotheby's New York before opening his offices in 1994. His work has been published in ELLE DÉCOR, House Beautiful, Veranda, House and Garden, Architectural Digest, Domino Magazine, The NY Observer, The New York Times – Home Section and numerous books.

Mr. Whealon serves on the board of the Gund Gallery at Kenyon College. The first monograph of his work, "In Pursuit of Beauty: The Interiors of Timothy Whealon," was published by Rizzoli in 2015.

Hutton Wilkinson was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in the architectural offices of his father and grandfather. At the age of eighteen he had the opportunity to apprentice under the great American design icon, Tony Duquette. Wilkinson worked for Duquette as a volunteer apprentice for two years and then as a paid assistant designer for three years before starting his own interior design firm. While self-employed Wilkinson continued his professional association with Tony Duquette collaborating in partnership with the great designer on a myriad of projects over the next twenty-five years.

In 2007, Hutton with Wendy Goodman, wrote “Tony Duquette”, which chronicles the great designer’s life and oeuvre. “Tony Duquette” was published by Abrams Books in November 2007 and is now in its sixth printing. A second book “More is More, Tony Duquette” which Wilkinson also authored was released in the fall of 2009. Both are best selling books for Abrams. Another book for Abrams titled “Tony Duquette, Hutton Wilkinson Jewelry” was released in October 2011. His latest book “The Walk to Elsie’s” is a two volume work of historic fiction written with co-author Flynn Kuhnert which chronicles the first ten years of Tony Duquette’s career and the last ten years of Elsie de Wolfe’s life, between the years 1940 and 1950.

Hutton continues designing residential and commercial interiors internationally which have been featured, along with his one-of-a-kind precious jewelry, in shelter magazines and fashion magazines including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Town & Country, Elle, Veranda, W, New York Times, Paper City as well as publications in Japan, Russia, Germany, France, Great Britain and South America.

Acclaimed Interior Designer and trailblazer, Michelle Nussbaumer, is consistently named among the top designers and tastemakers in the country. Her projects and designs are frequently featured in the pages of leading national and international publications including House Beautiful, Elle Décor, Veranda, Architectural Digest, Marie Claire and German Elle Décor.

With offices based in Dallas and Switzerland, Michelle’s interiors combine a fearless use of color and reflect an eclectic, yet timeless mix of bold patterns and influences from around the world to create her unmistakable signature style. In 2009, she was honored as one of Elle Decor’s ‘Five Leading Women in Design’ and one of her projects was named one of Veranda’s ‘25 Most Beautiful Rooms’.

Globe-trotting Nussbaumer, channels her style and inspiration from the places she has lived and traveled such as Italy, Asia, Mexico, Switzerland, Morocco and India. Elle Décor has called her “a fearless style monger known for her dizzying trove of antiques and signature line of furniture and lighting”. Nussbaumer’s Dallas showroom Ceylon et Cie is home to her furniture collection Ceylon et Cie Portfolio, her eponymous Michelle Nussbaumer Fabric line, and celebrated Rock Candy line of jewelry, jewel-encrusted boxes and trays. A collection of 18 th , 19 th and 20 th century antiques and textiles are also showcased from her exotic travels.

Michelle has collaborated on various projects including wallpaper with Gracie Studio, Mexican glassware, Delft tabletop, a Gwyneth Paltrow Goop pop-up shop, plus modern wallpaper with the Newlon Collection. Most recently she has developed her own line of textiles,

Michelle Nussbaumer Fabrics (a modern interpretation of classic ikats and indigenous patterns and prints), a tile line with Exquisite Surfaces and an art line with Leftbank Art. Michelle’s travel and design blog “Dreaming in Color” and her design projects are the inspiration behind her newly released book, Wanderlust – Interiors that Bring the World Home with Rizzoli Books.
